Default I had on offer on my car today....

Some guys had seen my car earlier this week, and he loved it. Just now he offered me $19,000 to buy it off of me.

I'm so torn I don't know what to do. I love her too much to give it up....even though thats a great price.

what you guys think? am I crazy for keeping it?

Sell, then go buy another 350 or upgrade to the 370.

Or... go buy something else you really want.

if its an 03, not matter what you have all done to it i think if you ever decide to sell it you'll be lucky to be in the same ballpark of 19k... JMO

Yeah I know I hear you guys.....but its just like I feel like I've spent so much time and effort into it....I just don't want to let her go

It will be like I have to start all over again. Which really if what I want to do, but didn't plan on it for another 2 years.

It kind of just took me by surprise.

if you were not planing to keep it for a long time and all you have are simple bolt on's, I would do it! Like others have said, 19K for an 03 is a good deal(for you anyway)

I've had for 3 1/2 years? bought it for $19,500.

Between, new clutch flywheel 06 tranny the brembo brakes and dba rotors and including all the performance mods? I'm easy in over $7000

But you can easily tack on the vinyl at another $3000

you have a tough decision to make... if you had plans on selling your car in the near future then take the money and run. Upgrade to an HR or even try your hand at importing a Nismo.

as Napoleon dynamite said "Just follow your heart. That's what I do."

best of luck Matthew

I dont see what all the fuss is about the HR. I had an 03 and now own an 07 and i cant tell the difference.... Even if the HR was .5 sec faster in the quarter you'd hardly feel it and they have been kinda skipped over for the aftermarket nevermind the horrendous clutch engagement. Its either that or my car just plain sucks. Sell the zed, wait till dec/jan and buy a c6 vette. 370z is kinda crappy imo as its on par with many sedans performance-wise.

Reason why i bought the 07 350z was cause when they came out everyone was sh!ttin kittens over them, why i dont know.

I mean, I don't expect to have this car forever, I don't think I will be driving it for more than another 3 years. I just don't know it's bugging me

i've felt the clutch between an 04 and an 06 even and it was night and day. The newer clutches are a joke.

i had a similar situation with my S13 earlier this year.. guy offered me the right number and even though i didnt really want to sell it i couldnt turn down the chance... you'll never get what you want for it when you want it.

This sounds like a good opportunity to start fresh

Drive her into the ground and let me know when she is worth a few G's and I will take it off your hands.
