Talking KW V3 Install

I got the KW V3 coilovers I purchased from BWK installed last Friday. Great job by the guys at APH My car is sitting at the same height Barry had on Voltex Z however I lowered the front a bit. Overall I'm very happy with how the car looks and handles - a very nice upgrade over the Nismo S tuned suspension I had. I'm going to leave all the height, damping and rebound settings as is and then tweak them once I take the car out of storage next year. I'll probably go a bit lower once I roll my fenders. I've attached some pics...

Ya you need to go lower!!! Get those fenders rolled. Did you get an alignment yet? If not roll your fenders and go lower first.

i'd get a set but i dont want coils in the winter because the seals blow.... not sure if the KW's would have that same issue though.

looks good man! Nice buy.

I was talking to one of the faster guys I race with and he said the number 1 mod he did to his car was a corner balance. Not sure if you had this done, but I am sure APH and if not Sasha can do this. Makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the feedback guys...
More low will happen in the spring as I'm going to store my car in about 6 weeks.

Good question Bing - unfortunately I don't no the answer and I have no plans to drive mine through the winter.

Great advice Rob I don't think Ed@ APH can do this. Sasha did my alignment last year so I'll probably hit him up once I'm done tweaking all my settings.

If you have the original receipt you get free rebuilds from their lifetime warranty. The full stainless steel strut casing really helps for winter as well. My threads still look brand new and turn without any effort even after over 50k km on my V3's. Other brands use an anti rust coating which eventually wears off.

I had my alignment done at SG then Sasha took me out for an awesome test drive around the block to help me tweak the settings

The warranty info on the site is vague, it just says limited lifetime warranty. I actually called them a while back and they told me rebuilds are covered. I forgot the exact process but you'll have to pay for shipping to California (better then shipping to Germany) and it has to be from the authorized dealer too.
