Default Reasonable pricing?

Was quoted $120 to have my rear fenders rolled and four hours labour to install my BBK.

Does that seem reasonable?

Looking for voices of experience.

Thanks

I charge $70 to roll rear fenders.

Hour a corner on the BBK seems about right for shop time, I'm going to guess and say APH, yes?

I'd have you do the fenders in a heartbeat if you were you closer, 4DGS.

I know it's more than your offering, but as long as they do a good job I'm satisfied.

Just looking for a second opinion.

It's Speedstar, FWIW. Initial customer service is excellent. Very friendly.

That's crazy cheap. 4 hours work... 30 dollars an hour? seems almost too low.

Maybe my phrasing wasn't terribly clear.

Two jobs being done: Fenders rolled @ $120. BBK install @ ~$320 (four hours at $80/hr). Also doing a flush of the brakes for another $120.

You are in good hands with SS. Stand up guys.
-You may be paying more for SS to complete the work, but they will also stand behind it. Not sure how many individuals that work no your car will do the same.

Put the BBK on yourself cuz thats an easy job. Then save the cash and pay Blain to do your fenders. Cuz that takes experience.
Then again I've paid ppl to do easier things on my Z in the past....

$80/h is cheap compared to dealers at 100+/h .... What shop in this decade is $30 lol ...

Most shops I have seen average fender rolling at $60 a corner ... Bbk no idea but doesn't sound THAT expensive.

4DGS: so you can roll my fenders for $70 total? Any risk to my paint? Where you loacted?

FWIW, I borrowed a fender roller and heat gun and with no experience successfully rolled them and did a better job than APH did. Nothing against them, just if it's your car you are going to go slow and do it right.

I charge $35 a fender. $70 for the two rears. In most applications the fronts do not need to be touched.

That's not much of a testament, APH has done some.... interesting fender work.

Other specialty shops are upwards of $110 an hour.... so no. $80 is cheap as hell.

you want it done right go to a proper shop and pay the money. you had enough to buy a bbk might as well fork over the tiny bit more to have it installed right and you'll be able to drive it home worry free.
as for the fender rolling...it takes time and lots of patients

tooo much. BBK should be 100 per side at most. 120 is a bit high for the fender rolling, but if the guy does a good job then i guess its ok
