Will you be in Petawawa all summer? Do you have a place to stay down here or are you going to hotel it? I'm only an hour from TMP if you need a place to crash.

if nothing change , I shouldnt be on any exercise this summer ,the big rush is the first 5 months of year then the rest isnt much for me but other units on base or just some troop training where I am ,, i shouldnt be part of that.

thank you for you offer ! if we both go to TMP , I wouldnt mind to stop at your place for a the night instead of driving all the way home and crashing (sleeping) halfway during the night in the car at a Timmy packing lot !!!
heheh

CSCS I think a 1:22 at TMP would be needed for SRWD. Maybe even 1:21s this year. I think you will be close to that Mike, with the new diff, suspension, and weight out of the car. Im going to aim for it but I don't think I will get lower than 25s. The car is lighter but still stock suspension, and near stock power. But thats ok, the car is built to win CASC which at least a class win I should easily have.

if you havent been to any track day ,I strongly suggest you to do a few lapping day before !
even if you think that you are a good driver , being on a track is way..... way different.

and depending who are doing the timeattack , they might even not accept you because some require a license.

as for what Unit I am with ,, 2 CER maintenance (weapon tech)

check out the two day time attack school that OTA runs in May. You'll have instructors with you throughout, you'll be ready for any small/flat track after that.

I see that the school runs May 5th and 6th.

Do the two days teach different things? I know there is no way I can get 2 days away from the family.

The two days are different and I highly encourage both. It was more of a challenge when the school fell on Mother's Day in the past!
