Just a quick question . Anyone know about "wetsanding"? Some cool guy keyed a giant Z on my driver door. Just once I'd like to catch someone keying a car. But anyway its not deep and I've shown a couple of car nuts and they think the pro's can wetsand it and not have to paint it. Anyone had this done before on any car? Anyone else's Z keyed?

Go to the So Cal board and/or pm cbwidebodyz. He's a friend of mine here in So Cal, and he has a ton of experience in modding cars, and working on them. Been doing this for years. He is in the process right now of wet sanding his, due to some super awesome top secret paint job he just got. Sure he'd be happy to help out. His name is Kash; just tell him Jen sent you!

 

only if the key marks are in the clearcoat can you wet sand it, if they are deeper, you are SOL and will have to find another way to fix it.
