Default Install time on Nismo LSD?

Looking for average install time required for base diff to Nismo LSD install. Will be looking to have this done soon and need to know how long my car will be down.

Probably takes a few hours if you have a dealership do it. I was quoted $330 from a dealership here.

Really? I'm gonna have my local dealership do it to. I'm waiting for the quote with parts I'm just wondering how long its going to take cuz I don't wanna be without my freshly boosted Z for too long.

Make certain the installing dealer actually staffs someone that knows how to do the work, especially checking the alignment and doing any shimming.

I can't really say how long my conversion took since things were complicated by the need for parts (open diff to oem VLSD conversion). Thankfully you won't have that issue since the Nismo LSD comes with all the required parts. Knowing what's involved from the service manuel, at least half to one day IMO.

Thats not too bad. I was worried it would be like 2-3 days. As for a person that can do it...the tech who will most likely be doing it is one of their Master Mechanics and has done a TON of aftermarket work on a lot of peoples cars there. Hopefully he can do this.

I think I paid five hours labor to have it done, which I felt was right on the money.
