Talking RWHP? With Vortech?

My current Mods are, Crawford Headers, Cats, Plenum and Borla true dual exhaust! What kinda RWHP will I be getting with a Vortech SC? I'm doing this mod in Jan so I was wondering what I'd be looking at?

Thanks for the help

My last dyno was on November 11th, 2004. Max POWER = 340.9 and Max TORQUE = 288.3

With those mods, you'll be around 360whp, tuned not too conservatively, not too agressively - right in the middle and safe enough...maybe even more

Depends on what kind of gas you run in albemarie (where is that?) Our crap California gas requires a conservative tune to prevent severe detonation. But I've heard with better gas (94 octane) people running 360-400hp without too many issues.

I talked to him, should be right around 400 maybe a little less but that sounds good. I'm not gonna do cams, gains not worth the money IMH.

Thanks

i have the 2.87 pulley on it and i last dynoed at 418 whp and 350 torque...on a mustang dynometer. So on a dynojet it should pull about 450-460....if you do get the kit, opt for the 2.87 pulley after you get used to the stock pulley....

jdm3fiddyz- nice numbers. Are you worried about the internals giving in? Had 2 buddies this month with Greddy's blow thier engines. Just wondering. Lil- i think you should at least hit the 370whp mark but you'll definetely want to tune with R4.

Default Tuning Options

What are the advantages/disadvantages between dyno tune and R4 software tune for a MT with Headers and Vortec S/C..

Not true... cams were in before my SC.

Shane, with your current mods, you should be able to hit 370-380 with good tuning. Get a dyno done now, then figure a gain of approximately 125rwhp with the Vortech. That should put you in the ballpark. Remember, different dynos will give different figures, what matters is your relative gains. Just go to the same dyno to get your before and after.
