Thumbs up Review: Mossy Short throw shifter

Here's another review of the Mossy shifter. (aka Nissan Motorsports shifter) I just got it installed today and I'm not being sponsored in any way.

The shifts are smooth. Short. Silent. No rattles.

It's easy enough to adjust. This was a big selling point for me because I'm not the only one who drives the car.

There is still a bit of notchiness when downshifting (especially from 2nd to 1st) but it's still better than stock.

I was concerned at first when the reverse lock out didn't work, but Greg @Mossy took care of it and now the lock out works like stock.

I was also impressed with the customer service at Mossy Performance. Greg, Steve, and Kevin did a great job, and were more than willing to make things right after the initial glitch.

There's a group buy on the shifter in the group buy section. I would recommend this shifter.

Nice...Yeah those guys over there are GREAT to work with. Greg and Steve have always taken REAL good care of the local Nissan Community.

It wasn't a design flaw. I think it was a flaw in the one part. As soon as the Mossy boys heard that the lock wasn't in place they switched out the bad part.

The customer service was great. They support their product.

Hey I have a B&M short shifter and it is really notchy. Also, the guide plate keeps moving so now i cant hit the plate and slide into 5th :/. I am getting tired of retightening the guide plate all teh time, does the mossy shifter use a guide plate. Hoow smooth is it at "stock" height?

the Nissan Motorsports (Mossy) Adjustable Shifter uses the stock guide plate. If it didn't move when the car was stock, it shouldn't move now.

When the shifter is adjusted to stock, it's gonna feel stock.
