Default Anybody Do Scheduled Maintenance?

i'm not talkin about gettin your oil changed either. i'm talkin about the $400/30k nissan dealer maintenance. they told me i should do that soon, then i saw the price. i thought i would get you guys' opinions first.

Yeah I would do it at my house. I don't think anything needs to be replaced at 30,000 miles anyways other than maybe some fluids.

You might want to check with Grubbs Infiniti/Nissan or Performance Nissan. I remember seeing DIY maintenance kits for varying mileages available.

only think i would do is a 60000 and a 100000mi check. Anything else is blah!

I have done all the schduled maintenance. But my dealer doesn't charge anywhere near $400. I figure its worth at least doing the 60k and 100k mile checks.

It doesn't matter who does it as long as it gets done. I've always done my own on all of my other cars but so far I've let the dealer take care of the 350.

i have always done my own too...but lately with the new cars i let the dealer do it...then they/you have documentation for warranties, etc..

Not sure of all the specifics... Goto your dealer and they should have a brochure of all the scheduled maintenance available but make sure you ask for their 350Z specific plan cause it is different maintenance and is usually a bit more expensive. At my dealer there is a special tune up/maintenance section for the 300ZX and 350Z.

yea, ill check that out. good looking out! it use it like a check list, and do it myself. as long as its nothing a cant do that is. i bet the guys at performance nissan know what it involves! (hint,hint!) i still have some time before ill hit 30K though!
