Thumbs up ***'BIG Brake Upgrade Is Here'***

But................ Not installed.
Unfortunately UPS did not delivery the kit until 5:00pm yesterday, and thus too late for my shop to do the insatll (otherside of town). Needless to say, I was BLOWN AWAY when I opened the box!!! After verifying all parts were indeed present, I shot a couple of pics for your viewing pleasures! I'm heading out to our Dallas Meet, so I'll respond later on...
I CAN NOT WAIT TO INSTALL THESE ****'S!!!
The Box says it all!

What will be bringing TXSTYLE down to a halt!

This is actually their LARGEST Brake setup available: ST-40 4-Piston!

For comparative purposes: I am 6 ft. tall and have hands to match! These ladies and gentlemen are the LARGEST calipers available from STOTECH: 14 inches!

Finally, for an even more comparative sizing! (by the way, Ms. Electra will be doing a signing autoprahs next week here in Dallas)

TX,

That's sick! 14 frickin' inches, you're crazy-

I'm going to try the AP 14" kit, so I guess we can compare the two in a month or so

Default Wow, you did it again!

You are 1-2 steps ahead of the pack and 3+ ahead of me! I would also like to know the vendor and cost if you do not mind. I am new to this game so i am not sure when it is ok to ask for prices and specs. I hope it ia all about sharing info.

I would also be interested in your opinion after you install this beasts. I hope they stop as good as they look.

Hmm, one more thing, tell us if you are having difficulty with wheels fitting around them.

I plan to weigh the rotors and calipers prior to install.
Actually this particular kit is well over the $1995 List. This is their Top O' The Line S***! List is more like $2,500! But we've worked something out, so "It's all good." I will post up the complete install and results...

I was cut a special deal by the manufacturer due to multiple sets sold (Lexus) and the write up install I will supply them. BUT, I am working on "special pricing" for my 350Z peeps as we speak.

Umm... let me just go on record here and say that I have seen the BBK (Big Brake Kit) that TXSTYLE is installing for myself. It is totally unbelievable how large these rotors are! The images that he posted do not truly represent the sheer size of the rotors and calipers! TXSTYLE is truly taking it to another level!!! Brembo aint got nothin' on these brakes! It will truly be a sight to behold once they are mounted.

Note to self: Ask Santa Claus for BBK for Christmas.

I have. I wanted to be able to purchase a Big Brake Upgrade without having to take out a bank loan! I believe that setup is @ $4 - $5,000...

I don't know where the picture is offhand but,,, I believe that the Carrera GT has 8 pot brakes except it is a 6 pot caliper on the right side of the rotor ( This is if you are facing the side of the car) and a 2 pot caliper on the left side. Very sexy looking.

Will these brakes work with 18" rims or do you need to go to 19"?
