Question 3.91 & skipping 1st. gear ?

For the ones who have instaled the 3.91 gears. are you still using 1 st. gear in daily driving ? I don't like that 1 st. revs. so quick and i am considering a change and woukd like a little feedback. Thanks.

you can use either 1st or 2nd to take off with the 3.91

you definetly want to use 1st if you're launching the car or trying to get accelleration otherwise what's the point of the 3.91?

The 3.9 gear is not that radical of a change. You just drive it normaly. Take off in 1st gear like usual.

last night I tried experimenting more using 2nd gear instead of 1st.

I stalled a lot. I have the tilton so it's a bit crazy to drive anyway, but I had to rev the engine slightly higher it seemed like. There was a lot of clutch squeeling - more so than 1st.

I think I'm better off just using 1st
