I meant to give them a call the following business day and see if they have a suggestion since they do make BRAILLE batteries. Braille has always been very accommodating when I ask questions.

****Update:

I swapped out my Cusco A-Arms for 350evo units. Definitely a much better design and lighter! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to weigh the arms to see the actual difference. I am sure the information is floating around somewhere. I will edit once/if found.

^ thats what i was thinking. carbon fiber seats(compared to normal racing seats) are kind of unnessary at a weight/cost ratio but for looks there awesome.

This was probably mentioned already - I believe the Seibon carbon hatch is 11 lbs vs. 77lbs stock.

Edit: At least I thought I remembered one of the carbon hatches weighing 11 lbs. I was rather shocked - can anyone verify that? I know it didn't support the wiper assembly, and I'm sure the rear window was fiberglass or something

Just curious, anyone know the weight difference between the carbon fiber cloth seats and the leather seats?

not yet, it looks like composite plastic. How much weight could be saved do you think?

Also curious. I can only picture it saving weight if some sort of custom alum. Is made.

Likely none.

The density of aluminum is higher than a comp plastic. The only way to make it lighter would be to drill a bunch of holes in it, which would take away from its structural integrity.

Aside from the hole drilling, I was thinking you could use, material wise, much less aluminum to make a support than they use of that composite plastic. So while the aluminum is heavier, weight would be saved in the end.

Changed it out to what the carbon fiber Midori one?

I doubt anyone is going to pony up the $3000 for this piece and I cant blame them when a stock one is only like around $200 at most and doesnt weigh that much.

I've known about it for awhile, I mean it is what I do for a living.

That piece has been out for a few years and I am not surprised that I have not actually seen it on a car yet.

hmmm, $3k for tops a ppound or two difference. can't do that kind of math, could probably take a hole saw and save the same amount of weight for a six pack of beer. Mine already has a few extra holes for brake ducting and oil cooler routing.
