We can install the torque converter now. we are getting 20 more for the group buy.

are you local?

the install takes 4-5 hours @ 85.00 per hour.

plus $ 595.00 for the coverter with core

call me if interested.

ooooh really...ill definatley be calling you guys...i go to school in queens and im suppose to have my car up here in a bit once the weather starts getting alittle nicer....ill be in touch though...

no the dynamics of the TQ will be the same. I can have joe from Pro-Torque speak to anyone interested in this upgrade.

we have installed several and the response has been great.

we are going to run a stock 2005 Auto on the dyno, the re-dyno with just the TQ and post the results soon.

Anxious to see the results! I am sure more would be interested in something the is "street friendly" vs "track"! A TC from someone in conjunction with VB is my next upgrade.

I like what you said in your "PM"! Have never been excited about sending my TC somewhere for upgrad and waiting.

Default dead stop to go.....

I have 5AT TipTronic, am a Newbie, hope i dont' get flamed for this one......what does the Torque Converter do from a dead stop to fully depressing the Accelerator pedal??????
will the Launching be a lot quicker from dead stop to go?

Will a torque converter only help with launching and drag racing, or will it net faster track times at road coarses/ autocross?

I'm definitely interested. Keep me in the loop for the group mod. This could be the mod that makes me keep the AT, and not switch to the MT. I am also curious about any advantages in auto-x/road racing.
