Default quick AEBS stroker questions

When you buy the AEBS stroker kit, do you get a brand new block from AEBS that's stroked or do you have to send them your block to have the work done?

Also do I understand it right that you can go for the 4.3 stroker kit which has a theoretical limit of 800crank hp or stay with the 3.5 and get it sleeved and it'll stand up to 1500hp?

Sorry for the newbie questions

I think they modify yours. Call them and ask for Paulus or Ben...

You don't even need to sleeve it. Performance Motorsports only has Darton sleeve liners, they haven't even closed the deck off yet.

AFAIK, the stroker kit is just a taller crank and shorter rods, as well as I believe they bore the sleeves out.

i'm curious about that too

would it be worth it to go 11.5 on a street car on 91 octane? seems like you'd have to retard timing unless you run higher octane, but i don't know

If you're doing F/I, don't do that high of a CR. You need around 8.0 - 9.0:1 CR.

And no idea why there is a price difference, might want to call them and find out.
