I get about 14mpg. Keep in mind I live in a rather small town and traffic on campus is a biatch, so I'm always stop and go like 100ft at a time. Sucks sitting still so much, so when I finally do get some open road, I like to open her up.

If I fill up and drive until my trip meter reads DTE - - - I usually can squeeze 300-350 miles on a tank, it depends on how I drove.

The most I ever got out of a tank was ~415 miles with a mix of spirited/highway/city driving. I ended up putting in 19.2 gallons when I filled up. I ignore the DTE because it's so off, mine starts reading '- - -' ~330 miles. I always fill up right around 400miles.

dte = distance to empty i think?

I average out to 18 mpg when driving around town. How many people really fill their tank ALL the way up when fueling? I never go past half tank unless going on long trip.

Haha, I do the same thing, only fill my tank half way. It actually quite a weight saving, 1 gallon of gas weighs about 8 lbs.

Damn, you still had .8 gallons left. I normally get between 350 and 375 out of a tank and around 24 mpg.

the most I ever got out of a tank was 512 miles, that was continuous highway driving at 68mph (2500rpm in 6th w/ the tilton)....

nowadays, and especially once i get the 3.917 back, i'm averaging about 14mpg (so ~280 per tank)

the best I ever got was on a drive from NY to IN ... a lil over 600 seriously. That was at 63 - 68 mph the whole way. My computer read 35.8mpg .... I was soooooo excited about how well this car traveled.

Nowadays .... I get about 415 miles per tank ... 23-24mpg on 60% hwy/ 40% mexico

marluci7 ... you are an exception do you ever run less than 100 oct?

Let see....I went 334 miles last fill up and had to fill up $39.15 worth of gas at $2.27/gal...which came out to about 17.25 gallons, which means I got about..

19.3miles/gal.

Crap. I used to get way better. I don't do much highway driving tho...and my office is only about 15mins from my house....something like 8 miles away.

What's kicking me in the nuts is paying almost $40 to fill up my tank. Man...and it's only supposed to get worse. I remember back in the day when I used to think putting $17 in the tank was a ton of $$.

I usually get around 300 per tank driving in and around Dallas. The best I ever got was about 440 driving from DFW to Nebraska. (It's better than my 1999 Maxima SE at over 22 MPG. In the Max, I only got about 20-21 MPG.)

Dr. Volkl, you pay $2.27/gal. WOW. I thought Dallas was high at $2.09 for 93 octane.
