Default Oil types

What kind of oil is there in the engine from the factory and what do you guys recommend I use for my first and second and so forth oil changes? Any explanation as to why I should be using a certain type of oil would be helpful as I want to understand more than be told.

Thanks!

Use Mobil1 5w30 SuperSyn and use Mobil1 M1-105 oil filter (or even K&N Gold HP-1006). This filter is much bigger than the stock oil filter, but fits perfect.

Here is a link and you can read more about it.

synthetics are the nicest out there, IMO but the ones on the market like mobil 1, castroly syntech, etc... are petrolium based oils, where as a full true synthetic is like the Motul, which is largely an esther based oil. Those are the types of oils that really lube the internals well. but they are mmore expensive.
check out our site, we sell the different types of motul, so you can compare...

FYI, Mobil one is not a petrolium based oil. It is a full PAO, group IV oil.
