Default Fuel Pressure Gauge Install

I want to install an electic fuel pressure gauge. Is there already a 1/8 NPT port in the system or do I need to tap into it somewhere?

I am going to use the AAM spec Fuel pressure gauge mount when I do mine. Its just nicer looking IMO but a t-tap will work just fine.

I hope i am always bored of my fuel press. gauge, I don't want the excitement of WOT and "0" on the gauge, followed by silence, or worse.

If you don't have anything done to the fuel system, I would save the money.

It's always best to tap into the fuel system someplace by using and adapter or fitting instead of cutting a line. Cutting a line sure does work, but incase you ever need to put it back to stock, or remove that tap, then you end up having to replace the entire line which can on our cars, become costly.
we offer a t-tap fitting located on our site in the link below that fits between the regulator and rail...

FYI- That is not the regulator on the fuel rail, it is a dampener. The regulator is part of the pump assembly in the tank.

there are dampers on the rails, yes, but the main regulator/damper you want to use this t-tap with is the one on the rail under the plenums, not the one that's visable on the top pass. side of the motor.

Could you please show me the fuel "regulator" that you are referring to in the pic below. If you are referring to Item #1, that is a dampener.
