Go ask Harry to overnight you the following parts from Japan:
2 of the big bottles (20 lbs each) so you don't top out too soon
A nitrous manifold kit with 250 shot pills
A diamond plated floorboard for the passenger side
A computer for engine management that can say "Danger to manifold"

Good info guy's. Funny, but not helpful if you don't include any info.
I've explained this warranty stuff before, the dealer has to prove the mod caused the problem, you are covered under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. So it's up to you as to what you feel comfortable doing. You could go all NISMO and probably not have a problem with the dealer, though some might not like R-Tune parts. But with those mods I don't think you'll be beating any STi's anytime soon, especially not modded one's.

I would get the following...
Tomei 268 Camshafts
Injen Cold-Air Intake
Injen or Borla Cat-Back Exhaust
Nexus or Crawford Headers
Nexus Test Pipes
Altered Atmosphere Intake Plenum Spacer
2005 Nissan OEM Lower Intake Plenum
Unorthodox Racing Crankshaft Pulley
Technosquare Full-Spec ECu Reflash
I'm not sure about what else.
Some custom things you may want to try. A Moreso fuel cooling can/tank. Here's what I would do, lighten the Z, carbon fiber hood, lexan glass in the stock hatch, take the tar out of the back, take the spare and jack out (unless you need it, if you don't want to get AAA), get a Hawk racing battery (maybe it's called Hawker? not sure, and I never found out if the performance of the battery changed or not) and i'd relocate it to behind the seats. And mount the fuel cooling can/tank in the compartment where the battery used to sit and then hook the fuel lines up to it. For every 10 degrees you cool the fuel, you gain 2-4% hp, use the fuel cooling plus 100+ octane (which the OEM Ecu will adjust timing) and you should see some pretty good gains.
I wish though...that someone would step up and make a more simple design carbon fiber complete front bumper replacement, rear bumper, and side skirts. (CWest just ain't cutting it, Wald side skirts replace the stock side skirt) And also CF fenders...every little bit counts.

well first you need to get a new steering wheel with 2 red buttons on each side...
dude, the simple easy answer is to spray. i am planning on going with a 100 shot later on this summer. as far as cheap easy hp, nitrous is ur best best. on top of that, find some of the stickiest rubber you can.

just get some rear rims (like weld drag lites, or just cheap cobra GT-r rims) at around 17x9 and the new MT E/T 's 275/40R17... then throw on a JWT cone w/ heatshield, Kinetix V4 Plenum (4 lbs lighter than stock, doesn't look like a huge ugly frying pan which requires a new STB and engine cover removal/mod like the Crawford, and doesn't require the extra gasketed connections like an ebay spacer), and some test pipes (or high flow cats). I recommend Stillen. You will easily run low 13's and beat any stock STI or EVO or SRT-4, etc. Total cost? about $1500
Those are all good bang for the buck mods, very effective and exactly what you need to drag race fairly cheap.
If you wanna spend more get a JWT flywheel/clutch combo and a UR pulley set (atleast the crank). Even consider an ECU flash, Technosquare is a good and safe choice there... do it last, with a A/F dyno readout before hand for them.

Ebay spacer? LOL! It's AAM...
And the gaskets are Nissan OEM, so they aren't going to fail.
And you can't use slicks on the street (well, you wouldn't if you were smart), I listed mods he could use everyday.
Forgot to mention a clutch and flywheel, i'd go with JUN flywheel and ACT street clutch.
