you should dyno in 5th, lower gears will magnify your actual torque. 5th is the direct drive on the Z.

You got these numbers off of a Z in 3rd gear? Those numbers and graph don't match up.

Your power graph is in RPM vs BHP (horsepower, boiler)
If my calculations are right, HP (horsepower, common) = ~0.076 BHP
That would make your power = ~18.24 HP@6k RPM

Your torque graph is in RPM vs Nm (Newton Meters)
If my calculations are right, Nm = ~0.7376 lb-ft (pound force-foot)
That would make your torque = ~233.08 lb-ft@5k RPM

I'm going to have to call BS on this one. These numbers are nowhere close to what your average Z dynos at. I don't even think those graphs came off of a car.

Are you sure you didn't dyno a 25hp Go-Kart with a Z body kit?

Ummm, no. BHP is Brake Horse Power

DEF: A measurement of the actual usable power (not calculated power) measured at the output shaft (usually the crankshaft) rather than at the driveshaft or the wheels. Thus none of the auxiliaries (gearbox, generator, alternator, differential, water pump, etc.) are attached. It is called the brake horsepower because the shaft power is usually measured by an absorption dynamometer or "brake." This is not the brake on the vehicle's wheels but a testing device applied to the shaft. This instrument is applied to stop or absorb the rotation of the output shaft and returns a value.

316 NM is about 233 Ft-Lbs.

scarface9: What kind of Dyno did you run on? Why 3rd gear and why the strange units (NM)? Normally it would be run in 5th gear (1:1 drive) and report in FT-lbf.

Scarface I think you unknowingly took delivery of the first diesel motor ever installed in a 350Z. I would look into towing your motorhome with that beast.

Did anyone bother to see that he is in UAE, as in the Middle East? That could account for the odd measuring you all were so fast to point out.
