Default Help engine is running hot

I just had the Blitz LM double row radiator, HKS Hi-powerexhaust, Kinteix test pipes, Crawford cast plenum, UR crank pully, & the Nismo thermostat installed. Now the engine temp gauge slowly starts to creep up to redline even when I am barely pushing down on the gas, but when stopped it begins to go down.

I was wondering if the crank pulley was slowing down the water pump so much that it can't keep up.

I was also wondering if I was running really lean, if that would cause temp to rise?

Any thoughts or suggestion would be extremely appriecated.

I seriously doubt that it's the UR pully - too many of them have been installed with no problems (including me & several friends). If I had to guess, I would point toward the radiator/thermostat install....did you bleed the air out of the cooling system after install & coolant refill? For the temp gauge to nearly hit redline, there's definitely something in the cooling system not right... Getting the air out of the system is a VERY important process that has to be completed when working on that system, be it hoses, thermostat, radiator, etc. The air bleeder valve for the system is near the firewall on the passenger side of the bay.

Some air left in the system is exactly what I was thinking, too. Definitely make sure you bleed that system completely. If that fails, try the stock thermostat again.

There is air in the hoses, you have to burp them.

Burp the system, just turn the plug and let air out until bubbles stop.

Thanks for all the help, I got it fixed last night. There was quite a bit of air in the lines, I had to put about 2 1/2 cups of coolant in. Then I went for an hour long drive and the needle never moved. Thanks again!
