Default Guys read this ...Important (Chaos At Dealer)

Well it all started off by me going to start my car one morning and i go to crank and it turns on and right back off im like wtf?? so i popped the hood and noticed that the red wire to the MAF was frayed (slightly stripped) and touching against the base to the engine strut bar (ground) i dont know if this might be the problem the car is not starting, although I made sure the red wire wasent touching ground and tried to crank again but nothing happens.I get all cranking noise , full battery everything the whole works , but no crank. so i called nissan dealer in Miami (esserman nissan) which i do not recommend, and they sent a tow truck to my house to pick up my car and take it to the dealer to diagnose the problem , car is tooken over there and a couple of hours later a service guy calls me and tell me that my ECU is bad and or DEAD im like wtf how? hes like o because we tried connecting our ecu to run diagnostic and your car wouldent respond to our ecu therefore your ecu is messed up. so the service guy told me TUES. that he ordered the ECU and its coming from god knows where... After 4 days of car being at dealer i called to speak with the service manager and the manager told me nothing has been ordered for my car , therefore i am extremly pist. this service guy has been telling me o the ECU is almost about to arrive one of these days etc. which is total HorseSH#$ . so how would u guys feel being lied to for like 4 days. what should i do , other than going to complain which i am doing tomorrow. is there a fuse for my MAF behind the battery or some other fuse i might have taken in reason to red wire of MAF touching ground. any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You might go over there and calmly confirm what's going on. It could be that the paperwork for your parts order was simply misplaced, and nobody but your service guy knows where it is. It also could be the service manager doesn't know WTF he's talking about. The service manager could be a coffee-swilling numb skull who has very little idea about what goes on around the shop, but could tell you with certainty what color panties the receptionist wears every day. Good luck.

+1

I spend so much time over there (or at any shop i take my car to) that everyone who works there knows me on sight (for better or worse, hah!)
