What weights are you using in each?

What kind of improvement do you mean?

How often should these be changed out? My car nearly has 20k miles and thus far, the only maintanence done to my car is oil change at 5k mi intervals.

It was recommended that I change my transmission and rear diff fluid at 20k miles. About 90% of my miles are on the freeway though.

Thanks,
Baron

I just did mine - used Redline MT90 in the tranny and regular Castrol 75-90 in the differential. The old stuff was practically black - after 32k miles. I didn't notice much difference, maybe the shifting is a little smoother but otherwise nada. I've heard that those who've had tranny problems notice a big difference.

I have a Nismo LSD and the Royal Purple help quiet down the rear end. The tranny felt smoother also.

Default lube

I run RL MT90 in the trans and RP_Max in the dif.

Note RP-Max contains friction modifiers, so if you live in a colder climate it can make your Synchros non-cooperative (especially into 2nd), till fully warmed up.

I was running RP-Max in the trans too; however, during the winter it would get "persnickety", so I changed out ot RL MT-90 , it's been a worthwhile change.

I have not had any problems with the RP. We had a pretty bad winter including 5 feet of snow. The Royal Purple worked without a hitch.
