Ditto on that. Very easy to drive, and no noise that I can hear.

I am considering the JWT flywheel also. Would it be crazy not to do the clutch at the same time? I really don't need a new clutch yet and even if I go Vortech in the near future I figure I should be fine with my stock clutch and the JWT flywheel. But I'd hate to make a mistake and have to remove the tranny a second time.
You can go with just the Flywheel (I have seen some people do that), but I would suggest to get the Clutch as well. This way you won't have to pay extra for installing the clutch. When installing a clutch and flywheel, your clutch installation is pretty much free.

The stock clutch won't handle the added HP of a FI kit for very long. Just do the two at the same time and save some cash in the long run.

tilton (or any clutch) does not have chatter if you raise the idle

my idle is somewhere between 1300 and 1500

not only has no chatter, but is actually easier to drive as well, and sounds meaner at stoplights sitting in neutral

"It was explained to me that if the stock clutch can be slipped 100% when starting from a stop, then the JWT or Nismo would be about 90%, The carbon Tilton would be about 25%, The street Tilton would be about 15-20% and the Semi Tilton about 5%."

can you explain this? what do you mean slip? and what kind of noise are we talking? Ive heard cement mixer- you mean just a rattling, clunking, grinding noise? What makes the tilton a pain to drive, the pressure required for the stiffer clutch?

why didn't you install it?

I keep seeing the ACT clutch but have not seen a single review of it. How does it compare to the JWT? Is it driveable?

Well, it means your clutch wants to grab sooner rather than ease in.. Your clutch is more on-off.. so it's more difficult to drive smooth in traffic where you have to constantly start and stop... or on a hill when you need to slip it a little for a smooth start.. One you get up to speed though there is really no difference other that it revs faster..

I don't really hear any noise with my clutch/flywheel combo (ATS).. occasionally I'll hear something like a quiet hum or slight rattle but that's it..
