Default Gains to expect with these mods?

I have a question for all my fellow G/Z owners. I am finally finishing all the mods in my sig. I have two of the mods installed already, the Z Tube w/ KN and the Motordyne spacer. I'm getting the UR crank pulley, DC SS headers, Crawford Cats, and JIC Y Pipe installed late next week. My question is what kind of gains can I expect? What kind of numbers do you all think I can post on a dynojet? I've seen some posts with dyno numbers in the 260's for RWHP and 250's for torque with similar mods. Do you all think I'll be in that area? Lastly, is there any other mods left I can do besides internals (cams, etc.) for more power? Thanks for all of your input.

Its really a shot in the dark since many Zs perform quite differently straight off the factory line. Add in the dyno factor, which will vary, and its really a guess. I think if you get the ECU reflash, you will complete the NA system. Its all about systems, rather than a mere collection of parts working independently.

Just enjoy the ride

only thing i can say for sure is u r lean with all those breathing mods. other than that, you could be pulling timing and not show any gain on the dyno, or not.

realisticly, expect 12-16 whp

it's hard to say what your car will actually dyno at becaues that depends where you live, what gas is used, what dyno is used, how the mood is aligned, etc

I read on here that somebody ran 286 rhp on a dynojet with everything I will have and JWT cams. Dyno for proof. He has not done a TS reflash. You would think he would be running much leaner than I will be but he isn't. He was in between 13.3-13.6 A/F all the way up to redline. His info leads me to believe that after a ECU reset I shouldn't be running lean at all, don't you think?

dont ever base your numbers on someone elses dyno. all dynos read different numbers. what was your baseline btw?

I think the 12-16whp is accurate. I ran a 257 on a dynojet with plenum, headers, catback, testpipes, intake, bored tb, and pulley. The cams make a big difference in terms of peak HP as they make the car pull all the way to redline where as without them, your HP #s drop off towards redline.

I was also running around 14:1 with my mods. I have since had a reflash, but haven't rerun to find A/F ratios or hp gains

Hey Zivman, where did you get your dyno done? I notice you live in MN, just wondering where to go and how much it was. Also, are there any tracks here in the metro area?

I ran mine at Elite in Mpls. It was $50 for two runs during a 'dyno day' that a buddy and I put together. PM if you have specific questions.

In terms of tracks, Brainerd and Rock Falls WI are the two closest ones that I am aware of.

You need to remember every car, every ecu reacts differently. Ive seen a guy with cams also and all the bolt-ons be ok a/f wise with a stock ecu. I have every bolt-on minus TB, and no headers or cams and I was over 15.1 lean. Running lean I went to 252 whp up from 239, after ecu flash 262 whp 252 ft lbs. Thing is Im a 6 speed, your auto, so you will dyno lower. If I were you Id expect 240-250 now, and a few more after an ecu if your running lean. The worst off your a/f is before the ecu, the more gains you will see after it.
