Default Will cutting power to the Z reset the ECU?

I recently had my car in the shop for a week for new pads and rotors. they disconnected the battery while it was in the shop. Everything on the car reset to factory defaults. When I got it out of the shop it felt like it had lost alot of HP. After 600miles it's starting to feel like my old Z again. Thoughts?

yes cutting power for 12-24 hours will reset the ECU - from my experience, it seems to work after 12 hours (maybe even less)

not sure why it felt like it lost power

how hard to you drive your Z? Do you do mostly WOT driving?

has the weather changed much during that week?

did you change gas brands or octane at all?

what are your power mods if any?

No power mods other than Magnaflow exhauset (Over 1 yr. old)
Only thing we did was change the brakes, pads & rotors.
On a scale of 1-10, I drive about a 7 day to day and push the car hard about once a week.
Same gas.
Weather is cool California. What's to change? LOL.
When I first got it back 1st felt a little slugish, 2nd really let you know something was up, and 3rd no longer pulled like a Z. I found myself running higher RPMs at shift (about 1K more) and cruiseing at 500 more RPM.
It's been 600mi. sence the power was cut and I feel like i'm about half back.
I'm about 6mo. on the air filter so i'm going to try replacing that tomarrow.
