The top 2 that you'll hear is the INJEN CAI & the JWT Popcharger. You can't go wrong with either of these. I personally went witht he JWT Popcharger because it was cheaper, easier to install, & cleaning the filter is a snap. The INJEN will require you to remove the bumper since the filter will be just behind the grill which would make it harder to clean in comparison unless you go with the short ram setup. Performance wise, you can't go wrong with either one. But honestly, most intakes pretty much have the same/similar gains. If you do a search, you will find tons of info on intakes alone. "Search" is your friend. Good luck & happy modding!

I'll be selling my K&N Typhoon within the next week or two if you're interested. Only had it on maybe 3 months, but I'm going FI and won't need it. It sounds and performs great, although I have nothing to compare it to but stock, but it's a night and day difference; much throatier sound. PM me if you're interested.

I had both, and I personally liked the JWT Popcharger better. It was a cheap, great sounding mod. You won't notice anything powerwise, but you'll definantly love the sound. You don't actually have to remove the bumper to install/clean the Injen CAI, but it is much easier if you remove, but you don't have to. The JWT Popcharge takes only about 15 minutes to install!

I got Injen CAI, then switched it to JWT Popcharger.
I'd say go with Popcharger, since it's the best bang for the buck. ($120 shipped)

The Injen does require more frequent cleaning of the filter, but that filter placement is what sets it apart. It has a longer tube which helps in the mid to high rpm range. The Injen will hurt the low end a little more than the Popcharger, but more than make up for it down the stretch. I had done some 1/4 mile testing and found my 60ft times better with the popcharger, but my overall times better with the Injen CAI as you spend more time in the higher rpms than you do in the lower rpms. Both are great and the Popcharger is so easy and relatively cheap that its hard to pass up. I tend to think the Injen will also be a better fit for a car with a lot of NA mods, but that is my theory and not really proven, so I kept the Injen over the Popcharger. I still think about it now and then when I have to clean my filter all the time

Thanks for all the advice. Does the popcharger come with a better heat shield. Like a air box?
