Thumbs up Carbon Fiber cold air Induction system. 10 HP Gain!

This new ram air intake system has been dyno tested on a stock Z with no modification. This system will let you intake get direct air from the stock front air vent. Intake will not get any hot air from the engine bay. Wet Carbon fiber construct box will cover up the intake. Below are photos and dyno chart.

Am I just reading this wrong? The chart you posted seems to indicate a loss everwhere but 6000 rpm, where there is a marginal gain.

According to the chart it seems before is the pre carbon fiber intake and after is post. I just don't see how that chart backs their claims.

"Heat insulation & forced induction to generates more external cold air"
"No Modification Of The Software"

The Torque curve looks odd for a Z too.

The reason the tq curve looks so crappy is b/c it starts at 4000 rpm lol (same for the hp).

I'm just curious about a price point--I have to admit it does look nice.

Yea, I'm not sure about 10HP it is direct from manufacture. But I'm sure it does some good to our Z. The carbon box front is direct connect to stock airdam. So you are getting direct fresh air.

Just curious... but how are they showing 280whp on a stock Z?

I guess I'm a dyno noob, but I thought dynos showed WHP unless they just test the engine out side of the car.

well, the stock intake takes direct cold air too.....

The Gruppe-M, or any long tube cold air that places the filter in the bumper will still yield the most 'cold air", but none of those gain 10 whp either.
