Default Central 20 final drive

Got the Central 20 final drive sitting in my room for a while now, I bought it to this shop that I've been going to for a couple of years. The owner suggest me to take the final drive and bring it to the Nissan dealer for installation, because the steps has to be followed precisely and he doesn't have one of the tools.

Did anyone complete this install? How long did it take and how much?

Never heard of this FD. Could you provide more info on it like who they are, what it is and where it can be purchased from? Just looking for more info as I didnt know there was another option other than the 350EVO FD.

I found their website at http://www.central20.co.jp, there is a photo on this page if you click Z33, and it looks like it costs 95,000 yen. Is there a site that will translate it into English?

Yahoo! Finance internet information portal says 95,000 Japanese Yen is $854.97. (edit: rgreene beat me to it)

Babelfish.altavista.com translated it to the following incomprehensible Engrish:

To my understanding the Final Drive is only 33,285 yen which is 300USD. The rest is gear oil, short part(no idea what that is) and payment (I think it means installation).

If it is only $300, it's a bargain.

fairladyz33, how much did you pay for it?

Ether, how much does it cost without the install? Is it 33,285 yen? if it is, then it costs fraction of 350evo's final drive.

I would be very interested.

Remember though that 350Evo will sell you the entire pre-assembled pumpkin on an exchange basis, making the swap trivial. Granted it costs a bit more to do that...

Then again, you're in Australia, so I'm guessing it'd probably be cheaper to ship the Central 20 stuff to you then the 350EVO pumpkin from the states.

Don't forget that's around $300 in Japan. Tack on however much shipping costs from Japan plus a lengthy wait for shipping. Could something like that be sent airmail inexpensively or will it cost $150 for shipping?

Interesting.. You have the Central 20 3.9 FD in the US .. and I brought back the 350EVO 3.9 FD with me from the US to Japan in June.

In any event .. for N/A .. the 3.9 FD is a great addition.

It's $849.95 from 350evo. Since I'm in australia to me it doesn't matter if I get it from japan or usa, the shipping is the same.

So has anyone checked further into this? Be awesome if we could get this in the US for less than 350evo gearset (nothing against them, just be nice to save $$$).
