I've had the original RE SSK for about 9 months, and it continues to satisfy with short, quick shifts. After the first couple of months, the initial increased effort had lessened as the shifter wore in and actually became smoother (this is with a new cup and quality synthetic grease). No vibration problems, doesn't seem any more notchy than stock. I'm considering swapping the Voodoo Pearl Magnum **** for titanium, but the shifter is here to stay.

Maybe your hands got stronger from the initial workout
I think Ill have to try it..I have an 05 and the shifter shakes rapidly ..Only 750 miles on it....However I have noticed girls playing with it and looking at it longingly

Where did you get it? I have never even heard of it. Thanks.

I'm rather dissapointed with my rouge shifter. I got it about 3 weeks ago from 350evo, and it's the updated one with the bolt through the center. The shifter worked great for the first week or two, but then the upper peice of the shifter started to become very sloppy and loose. I really think the two peice design with the rubber isolation peice is a joke, and the fix they came up with the bolt through the center was just a band-aid fix...not much thought went into it. Yes, the bolt keeps the top piece of the shifter from coming off, but doesn't fix the slop that can show up overtime. Most people haven't had issues with their Rouge's, so maybe I just got a bad one. I went on a serious drive this weekend and realized how bad it was, 5th to 4th downshift was totally vague and mushy. I ended up taking it apart yesterday and using JB weld to secure the rubber isolating piece to the lower part of the shifter, and then doing the same to the upper piece of the shifter. It feels great now, hopefully it holds up. I'm still considering going with the 350evo shifter, since the throw on the rouge isn't all that short, and I don't mind a little bit of notchiness(sp) with the shorter throw.
