If i change the cams in my 02 350z will i need to do a chip upgrade? Im used to BMW's sorry for a simple question

Would the car run with the upgrade cam and NO software upgrade?
How much better will the gains be if i did both?

Can we also list some cam suppliers in this thread?

I'm guessing you mean '03 350Z, since there was no 350Z in '02. Also, the 350 doesn't have a "chip" per se. The ECU is reprogrammable by one of several companies, either Technosquare, or AAM. It's not required for a CAM upgrade, but it would help you to see the most gain for the $$. Unsure what the gains would be with or without the ECU reflash.
