Default 05 5AT - heavy gear change in tiptronic

Have a question to the AT boys.

When I am in tiptonic (95% of the time driving), I have noticed a very heavy gear change from 2 to 3! All gear changes other than this are fairly smooth.

The gear change is a real heavy "thunk" or "thud" coming from the box! Anybody have any ideas about this? I have just had the car in for a service and mentioned this to Nissan who are at a loss as to why! They have re-programmed everything, but it is still the same.

Some suggestions etc would be appreciated.

I get a little "thunk" if I am accelerating and then shift to 3rd.

So, it seems to be a common problem. As i said, this is only from 2nd to 3rd gear. All the rest are smooth and no "thud" noise.

my car shifts heavy on a 1-2 and sometimes 2-3 shift if i'm accelerating rapidly or at wot and lifting at the shift, and occasionally on a 3-2 shift (at slow speeds). it feels like it's coming from either where the driveshaft connects to the tranny or the driveshaft to the differential. i could understand that while accelerating the pump side of the torque converter is spinning in sync with the flywheel and when the turbine portion tries to keep up with it the fins on the turbine or possibly the strator might cause a sudden jolt to the tranny if you lift up and the flywheel/pump section begin to slow while the turbine/strator continue to spin at the same rate. however, it feels like its coming from further back so it probably is where the tranny and driveshaft connect, 'cause i don't see how it could be coming from the driveshaft/lsd connection. as for the downshift clunk it must be coming from the tq converter/tranny connection and the inability of the tranny to catch up with the tq converter as the rpm's drop.
