Shave 0.1 to 0.3 off your 0-60 time/qtr mile times!!!
As you know, lighter weight makes your car go faster. Lighten the car and you accelerate quicker.
So... if the Z is approximately 3300lbs (with fluids)... that's somewhere between 3400 and 3550lbs with the driver.
All you gotta do is get your heavy butt out of the car! Put in some remote control and a camera facing out the front window so you can "view" your driving experience. Even if the electonics weigh in at 50lbs, you're going to save between 50 or more pounds (depending on how much you weigh... be honest about it and you'll actually gain more in this experiment!).
Surely by driving remotely you could save 0.2 or more on your trap times.
Sorry... feeling punchy after being away a week... This is what happens after having to participate in too many armchair races with people whom have never seen or driven or riden in a new Z last week...
