what kind of map were they running?
do you know the weight setting they had for your car / rollers?
on mustangs software you can punch in all kinds of different numbers to simulate different loads...
you can even simulate 1/4 mile runs and also simulate a dyno jet type run...
some people swear by them since you can imulate all types of scenarios... with a semi truck for example you can simulate trailing a huge loaded trailer...

hmm... i went to the dyno.. and the dude put in 3800 goddamn curb weight..
mind you this was on a 4wd mustang dyno.. it mad 212.something
and then he changed it to 3400
and it made 213.something
so not much change.. eh!

Mustang uses the curb weight of the vehicle to determine the resistance it applied via the retarder. The other value is hp @ 50mph. By using these 2 variables the dyno calculates the load to apply to the rollers to "simulate" world type conditions. On n/a and supercharged cars these values don't have much bearing on the power numbers. Turbo cars it can affet the spool rate of the turbos.
I'm guessing on the firstcar the dyno operator had the parasitic drag value set incorrectly. This is a value the operator must cnage when running the dyno in 2wd or 4wd mode. Mustang dynos require the operator to manually change alot of variables when switching between 2wd & 4wd. Somtimes they don't get changed or get miskeyed on you get really funky numbers.

Thanks for info, underpressure.
I don't know how to insert the graph. But here is the info: 3200 lbs for weight and 13.59 HP @ 50 MPH. 179.8 HP @ 6000 RPM and 180.9 TQ @ 4000 RPM. The graph looks smooth like flatten "X" (HP line is climbing while TQ line is dropping)

13.59HP @ 50mph is a little bit high I think. I know it's probably the EPA recommended, but it tends to skew the numbers. Also was a weather station attached? If so that can skew the numbers more!
Keep in mind - a dyno is a tuning tool - there are just too many variables from dyno to dyno to really be able to compare numbers.

I sure hope you weren't charged for that nonsense....The only thing you get from that dyno is: questions about the test equipment and its operator;test subject (350z) is immune from scrutiny.
$75 for 3 pulls. That's sux. I know I shouldn't go there in the first place. I just want to see the number after all my N/A mods.
Injen CAI, SSV IM, DC headers, Kinetix Cats, Borla TD.
No ECU reflash.
I don't think weather? station is attached.
