Default Nismo Grounding Kit

I'm wondering if anyone has the actual Nismo Grounding Kit, or if anyone knows more about it. I'm looking for information on wire gauges, connector sizes, wire lengths, etc. I know there are plenty of after market/custom made kits available, and many come in 4 ga wire. However, this seems like MASSIVE overkill to me, and I'd have to think that 8ga would be about the right size.

Also, I'm interested in doing a more stealth install of this kit, so in accordance with electronics standards, since this is for GROUND wires, I will be using solid black, and hiding the wires as best I can. I know from reading the forums that many of you have colors to match your cars to "show them off", but if you see any real custom made show cars/bikes/etc, they do their best to HIDE all the wires they can, instead of making their engine bays look like a rainbow colored rats nest. Just my opinion, but in my mind clean is cool.

End rant...

So if anyone can provide real specs on what they think the best gauge wire to use is, and why (please cite your information, or back it up with real math), or provide the specs on the actual Nismo Grounding Kit (I assume they did the math for this), I'd appreciate it.

Performance Nissan sells "Nismo" grounding kit but its not from Japan. Its from Nissan Motorsports USA. it has kind of purple/grey color so its not bling. (actually its more hidden that glossy black color). I have one those.

This is not true. Some materials are simply more conductive then others. The type of shield makes a difference as well in the performance of the wire. (Although this is more of an issue when the wire is being used to power something and not just being a ground wire.)

For the lengths used in Grouding kits, conductivity difference is almost irrelevant.
And for 8ga wires, what kind of current/voltage numbers are we looking at, is it in KV or KAmps ?

isugoo, how do you like the USDM Nismo grounding kit? I wasn't sure if it was REALLY Nismo liscenced...that's the main reason I am hesitant to get it from Performance Nissan; and I know they are a very reliable dealer.

Logically, grounding kit does something but you know, its really hard to feel difference. But main reason I bought those is becasue:
1. No bling: I don't feel like putting red, blue cables under my hood.
2. Although its not genuine Nismo Japan product, Nissan Motorsports USA is very good quality brand. They're own by Nissan USA and they do race with all their product. So I trust them. They don't make anything bling. its all about performance.
3. Can't go wrong with Performance Nissan. Very good communicatoin. Easy to deal with. And any question I have, I called them and ask them real time. Anything I need, I will buy from them to support their love/effort for this forum.

Ok, so this is all relativley good information, however I feel that my original question has still gone unanswered.

To reiterate. What gauge wire is used in the Nismo Grounding Kit?

Anybody have a PDF of the installation guide for the "nismo" grounding kit install? I'd like to know what I'm getting into before installing.
