Smile Oil and Fluid Preferences

I have been asking around, but I cannot get a clear answer on this:
I am about to do my first oil change now that I am through my break in period. Should I do synthetic oil or not? What are the advantages of synthetic oil? What kind of synthetic is best for my 350z? I went to my dealer and spoke with the service manager, but he felt it may be overkill. I am curious what some of you may think. Also, can anyone recommend any tips on which fluids I should change and/or maintenance that I should have done now that I am done with my break in period.
Thanks Alot

I've always run synthetic, you aren't going to hurt your engine thats for sure. The mustang cobra guys are reporting that something called royal purple or something works really well.

I just did my first oil change. I used Mobil 1 5W-30. I was real surprised with the size of the oil filture--it's very small. I would run full synthetic.
