as for the power curve with the tomei's it's pretty awesome (running rather lean at the top end though, so i'm looking forward to a tune!) -- hopefully i'll get the car back and get the intake straightened out down at crawford... i'll see if i can re-dyno it at the same time and get back to you!

Rumor has it that Jim Wolf makes the Nismo cams, but the Nismo cams on the market are not the same grind as the marketed JWT S1 cams. Different intake and exhaust profiles as well as a more aggressive lift on the JWT cam.

Is there a difference between the R-Tune Nismo Cams and the regular Nismo Cams?? If there is wouldn't the R-Tune Nismo cams be better than the tomei's???? I kno the r-tune cams are illegal in the streets, but how would anybody kno?? LoL

Japanese NISMO Spec2 are the only option if your going all motor, these plus VTC pulleys to retain low end torque. Spec1 also give good gains but if your going all out then there is no reason to get the Spec1s, so Spec2 it is (284 intake duration 11mm lift/268 exhaust 10.5mm lift).
No other cams come close to these, Nismo R-Tune are milder than JWT and Tomei 268.
You will also need upgraded valve springs and an engine management which can use everything. UTEC will be able to at some point but Motec can now.

i've got the stock ECU with the technosquare F-spec reflash, but no fuel/timing edits... am waiting till the TT system goes on with the EU and return fuel system to do the tuning

The US Nismo cams are 262 duration. The Japanese NISMO Spec 2s are 284 intake duration 11mm lift/268 exhaust 10.5mm lift. They are much bigger.
For reference the Tomei 268 cams are 268 intake duration 10.5mm lift and 268 exhaust 10.5mm lift.
