Throwout Bearing Noise Disappeared!?!?!?!?
So it's been about a month since my throwout bearing noise went away. I know most of use here suffered from that problem with noisy throwout bearings. I currently have 10058 miles on my 2005 Base 350Z. Since the day I drove it off the dealer lot the throwout bearing was noisy as hell when in neutral. So right at about 9700 miles, the noise went away. I have no idea how or why but it just disappeared and has since been gone. I may have jinxed it by posting this (hence why I waited few weeks to post this) to see if anyone else had their noisy bearing go away, but i'm just really curious if anyone has heard of any similar incidents like this? Any reason why the noise may have just gone away?
my throwout has been making noise but only makes noise when its cold...or the tranny is cold..also it will grind on the downshift from 6th to 5th when it is cold...no clue what that is all about!!!
dont confuse the thowout bearing noise with the belt noise. i did that once. throw out brearings start to wind as they break. once they start it just gets worse not better.
