Do you have an aftermarket fuel pump pawnmarty? Fuel pumps will usually make a whining noise that can be heard if they're aftermarket. I've heard stock ones whine but that was with gutted chassis'.

Default Fuel Pump Noise

no, its stock.i have only had it since april (very warm in fla) but now that its in the upper 40s some mornings it sounds like it is touching a panal or somthing, but when it gets warmer it stops. anyone know the exact location and how to get to it so i can see if its the pump or just a rattle. thanks MARTY

pull the floor out of the passenger side rear compartment behind the seat. the assembly comes out in one piece.
