sell the RB swap....and gather some money and get the AEBS 4.3ltr VQ block with 11.5 c/r pistons and a nice head set-up and have fun ( also with the proper fuel delivery, Cams, Tuning, and some nice headers u will be set....but thats just me because i LOVE the N/A VQ set-ups )

please use the "search" option and look this information up. We have had this discussion come up numerous times. Some posts have pictures and such illustrating the swap. To be honest with you, it will cost you so much that at the end you will say to yourself why didn't I just buy a skyline and import it. If you really want to use that engine and trans put it in a 240sx. It'll fit in easier and mckinney motorsports makes the kit for it. But in the Z you will have weight problems, also fabrication and wiring is going to suck, you will encounter endless problems, and your looking at spending at least 20k+ on that swap. But if you do it Good Luck post pictures.

I'm sorry but this is the biggest crock of **** i've heard. Top Secret does these swaps on customer cars over in Japan. what type of "weight problems" are you reffering to??? Please be specific..

Other than that nobody knows the costs involved in swapping the RB motor onto the Z. For what you don't know it may be less expensive than importing a skyline(R34 cannot be legally imported anymore) and costs involved with title, registration and legalization. My 2 cents.

If you want infomation please look it up:

And as for letting you know how I know how much it'll run you:
I inquired many shops on doing it but the cost factor outweighted doing the swap. So i just bought an r33 instead....
Top Secret doesn't pay any labor to do the swaps they do it themselves.... If you do it yourself of course it'll be cheaper but then again I don't know many people who have the skill to do that kind of swap.
You cannot compare Top Secret to your average joe shmo shop
If you did find a good shop in the US that was willing to do it they would charge you an arm and a leg to do it..... Please call xs engineering or zcar garage and find out..... I bet most shops will just tell you no due to liability issues. I'm not trying to shoot you down or nothing just giving you the reality of it that's all. It is a good idea just very hard to achieve that's all.

And here's what you should have read before posting:

With the exception of how limiting our stock ECU is I would think this is a larger amount of money spent for little gains.
