HA-HA-HA-HA, $3000.00, on mods. Thats barely basic bolt on's. Wheels should be the first mod. and 3 grand buys wheels only. Look at some of the members cars on this site, they all have wheels [nice ones]. Click on marketplace and pay someone for their used wheels and tires, you'll be much happier with wheels.

Since no one is helping you out....
If I were you I would save up another 2g and buy a turbokit!
or
Crawford header - group buy price for i think 900??
Apexi dual 3in exhaust- 600
helix test pipes- 150
UR crank pulley- 160
Injen Intake- 240
thats puts you at 2050
with the other G.... either the UTEC
or
75 shot Nitrious kit... zex wet complete runs 850
that should EASLY put you in the 12's time wise and with the 75 shot...340rwhp range.

Alright for 3g's the best thing you can do is bring out the full potential of what your VQ35 can already offer. Get a piggy back computer. I don't think you need a fancy one with all the bells and whistles. But get one that someone in your local area can tune. You can do that for well under 3g's, not even 1500. IMO that is the best thing you can do and then get a plenum like APS or a plenum spacer like Motordyne 5/16" and put that on before you tune it and you still have lot's left over for a JWT Pop Charger and a Borla Duel exhaust. Do that kiddo and you will like it. But put all of those parts on before you do the tune with the piggy back ecu.

Haha. If you would have read the whole thread you would see that jmcmorante had some stories he was going to post and the Cessna had some pictures of drifting his car off the road that he was going to post so i dont think that really qualifies as a rediculous post.

i'd go with :
central 20 3.9 gears - $499
some sort of exhaust, I went with 2 hks mufflers, x pipe, and hi flow cats, ran me about $1000 with the cats and everything
crank pulley - $180 from KJR
Strup Headers - $450
motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer - $215
Emanage Ultimate and necessary equip. - $600
thats around $3000, and its probably the best performance you'll get for that money, since you didnt want to consider tires
were I you though, I'd get the rear wheels widened and slap on 295 drag radials in the back and skip the headers, pulley, and high flow cats, and you'll be WAY faster

Most of the mods were done at the same time except for the intake and cat back. So we didn't have a base line with all bolt on's before Unichip. My stock baseline (save Pop Charger) was 228 on a dynojet. I now have 276whp on a Dastek load based dyno. That one reads about 10 whp lower than the dynojet I baselined on from what I can figure because the Dastek is dyno'ing stock '03 & '04 6 speeds at a 219 average with a small margin of variation. But you know, it let's you tune AF and timing how you want it, and it works well. $900 for the Unichip and the tune on the dyno. When I had the Kinetix plastic plenum on it we got 288 rwhp.
