Default Feels like grinding in 3rd gear

I've been driving the car recently, it has about 26500 miles and 3rd gear feels almost like its grinding, sometime hard to get it into gear also.

any ideas?

Thanks

what year? if it's an 03-04 i would say it might be the onset of a serious tranny problem. 03-04 had some notorious 3rd gear grind problems. if its under warranty take it in and let them know its not normal.

i have the same type of problem when i'm shifting from seconf too third. Does it feel liek your clutch didnt; disengage, or is this after you are already in gear?

theres no "feels like grinding". it either is or isn't, you can't miss it. the trans issues also haven't been resolved as of yet since there have already been more than a few 06 owners who have had problems. this really should have been a recall issue IMO, but nissan is too damn cheap to do it.

I had mine replaced under warranty, tranny, clutch, everything. Same third gear grind, it's important to be able to duplicate it for the dealer. Mine was easliy duplicated when doing a low RPM quick shift from 2nd to 3rd.

I have an 06 with around 1300 miles on it, and its hard to get into first gear all the time, and it grinds going into 3rd and 2nd when the clutch is in, so ill let it out and try again and it still grinds, im taking it in next week though(hopefully) good luck with yours man
