155mph

With a chip I bet we can see 180mph, 7000 rpm, 300 hp.

Yeah, from what were hearing, the ECM upgrade (IF done properly) will give huge gains. One of the U.S engineers estimated around 320hp....and at the Tokyo Auto Salon, some one mentioned the ECU for the R-Spec Z that the chip can gain anywhere from 20-50hp. I know of one group here in the U.S whos working with a chip manufacturer for a month or so, but they don't plan on releasing it soon as they want to do extensive quality testing and hope to have it be emmisions legal. I can't say who it is, but everyone here knows the group.

hehe, I know some people too! This ECU of ours is being a PITA is what I keep hearing. Multi-computer (mapping) BS.

My numbers are for ECU upgrade only! For example NISMO claims 340, but that is with other mods.

I am hoping they can get a chip that will accommodate an unmodded car as well as a lightly modded car using several mappings in one ECU. Our cars are pretty smart, but only as smart as Nissan wanted them to be!

I think a chip with light mod like air filter would be great! Just about anyone who buy the chip will most likely have the free-flow filter installed already.

2nd thing is to remove top speed limiter.

3rd thing is to raise the redline.

Hopefully it will be less than $500...
