VENDORS... When will we see matched shocks for the Eibach/H&R, etc. springs?
i spoke to Tokico at the LA Auto Show,
they said their Illuminas and there new competition spring/strut kits (45 way adjustable) for the Z33 will be available sometime during spring of this year. the illuminas will come with matched springs that lower the car about an inch..
then again they said that about the Illuminas for the maxima like three years ago..

Thought i'd try to answer this. According to Eibach the spring coming out at the end of this month is being made to match the STOCK shock on the Z... A person I know has this on his car (the eibach testing car)... He said the ride has improved and so has handling.. Sounds like a good deal to me @ 259 dollars..
is there any difference between the shocks from the Base to Touring to Track?
you would think the track version would have a slightly higher spring rate and dampening.. but i havent driven a base or Touring...
anyone know if theyre the same part numbers?

The real question is if the bounce is all but eliminated. Skidazzle said that the stock shocks were so weak that he could compress them by hand, whereas the TEIN shocks for the rear were impossible to budge.
I'm really wanting something that stays within 1/2 inch of stock, but kills the porpoise. I can't go much lower and get over the curb into my driveway, but would love to kill the water mammal in my car.
BTW, 45 way adjustable? Overkill?

The touring aspect goes against the grain for a hard core sportscar, but reality tells me I can no longer tolerate driving 20-25 hours straight toget where I'm going. How would these be different from the Teins?
