So you want to stay NA? Welcome to the club! Reliable power with instant on and off response... It's a beautiful thing. After all of my mods I noticed the biggest difference from the UR (Unorthodox Racing) Pulley Set. Throttle response is much better, engine revs faster, and engine breaking is sweeter. Any time you remove weight from rotating mass (wheels, pulleys, flywheel) you can feel it, so I would suggest knocking the weight off there. After that, well I think the Z has plenty of power for a new driver so I would hold off until you get a little more experience with the vehicle. Get some track time and you will find the Z has very high limits that take alot of driver skill on your part to reach! Check out SCCA (google it up) and search for autocrosses in your area.

Best Regards,

Reav

are throttle bodies worth buying for making the Z a quicker response on the engine?

No. a flywheel is connected to the crank (on the engine side) and is what the clutch plate (transmission side) slips and makes contact with to transfer power to the transmission in a MT car. a flywheel is bolted to the crank (enigne side) AND the torque converter (transmission side) to transfer power to the transmission in an AT car.

and you will most likely not hit 330 whp with sim plebolt on mods. 300 whp is out of the question as well. i would do 5/16 motordyne spacer, strup headers, any exhaust (whichever style/sound you like), pulleys, and a utec tune to make sure the a/f ratio is perfect and all the power is being extracted from your mods. after this since sc is out of the question, i would suggest some seat time at and auto cross or some suspension to improve the handling and some seat time. what ever your budget allows

have fun, drive safe and dont be scared to ask questions, everyone has to learns sometime.......
