EU or UTEC in a 5AT?

Neither is a true standalone. The only standalone is the HKS. 2 grand and only tunable by licenced HKS people...

Actually the UTEC is a new breed of stand alone. Which is what we call a Parallel Engine Management System. In a basic form a Stand Alone ECU controls your Injectors & Ignition System. We actually do that at all times, with new age addons like Drive By Wire control. The UTEC could be only device in the car for engine management. We could configure the software to do so but, it would limit your actual users since most states require an OBD check to be completed yearly.

So the Utech works with the 5AT for all over features though?

I just bought one and it will be here in a couple of days. I will let you know if it does anything for the 5AT NA vehicles.
