Unless you really want to raise the rev and speedo I would only get the dyno with tuning to optimize your mod's..and make sure you are not too lean..

I have a Motordyne spacer to install when the weather gets a bit warmer. Then time for a tune.

this may sound like a silly question but how long does this last? does the change in weather effect the tune? is it something you have to go back and get done again from time to time or does it last forever?

A reflash changes the programming on your chip = forever or until you decide to change it/fry it or revert it back to OEM.

Those the are pushing the limits of their tunes, should probably review it when the weather changes to prevent a summer tune getting to lean in the cold winter months and causing detonation. There are a few people on the boards that have blown engines because of a drastic weather change (although many will disagree with this fact I guess, just my opinion)

In theory you should only need to tune the car when you make changes to that would effect performance. Or when you want to change the way the car performs.

I am sure others will disagree on some of these points. Just my opinion/understanding. There are a LOT more experienced guys out here to give you a better understanding of this.

Reflashes for the 350Z accually makes the car safer from adding fuel.Typically the 350z runs lean after mods, which can lead to problems if not careful. So after a proper reflash you get power from the proper A/F and timing, and with the added fuel your safer year round.
