Chichi,

Good to see another Z guy venture into the high output N/A zone! Good work mate!

Can you be able to find out what are your cam durations and the lifts?! Thanks heaps!

my number has been discussed so many times on the forum.... it is a lot lower than what you guys have got from the states due to different dyno machines that we are using...

I am making 212.5rwKW at 7600rpm now... and that's 289rwHP at the moment with all of those mods that I put on... and I am waiting for someone in the States to do similar mods to what I have done to my car, so I will have a rough idea on how much HP my car might make on the State's dynos...

cheers,

richie

well if all goes planned correctly and smoothly, i will be having a very similar setup as yours with a few variations. I've been following your setup since the start and i have to say, i'm a fan of your setup and how you stuck with going NA rather than FI. For some reason, i feel that if you were in the states and had it dynoed you would have surpassed the 300 mark. I also think the biggest part of going NA like the way your going is the fact of getting past that for the same price you've spent on your parts and labor you could have already made a twin turbo monster.... for me it is atleast

ZON,

I have a dyno video here... but yet to do any road going video... I am overseas now for biz and will look into that when I get back to australia.

Eric,

Thanks for that... didn't know that my car has some fans... great to hear that! I love to stick with my N/A setup because I am still so in love with my previous euro schnizer 3.2L m3 (around 37 less wheel power than my 350Z), and that influenced me a lot...

cheers,

richie

Try the Dynojet at Apex Motorsports. It's right behind SP. I baselined 228 whp on that one before I had any mods, save pop charger.

Can you please go to a dynojet and get some numbers? I'm very curious to know if it is indeed around 312whp or maybe even more. I've heard strange stuff about the dyno that you used....

I dynoed 239 on SPs dyno w/ popcharger.. I was at SP last friday and saw your car Steela. I was getting my SP custom exhaust install. Holy shht that thing is loud.. but me likes! The mechanic was telling me about the car with the cams and how it made a lot of torque.. awesome numbers!

his peak is 360bhp at 6400rpm so with ~12-15% lost it could equal close to 312whp.

What's the diff between the dyno pulls being done in 4th gear as apposed to 5th gear? Cause the dyno sheets say 4th gear.

you could dyno in third gear and get nearly identical results...I've dynod in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th and not varied by more than a couple hp
