Arrow Tranny getting replaced, get new clutch?

Hey guys/gals,

Well I am finally getting my tranny replaced since the infamous 3rd gear grind got me. So I am wondering if I should get a new clutch. I have 36k on my car. I was thinking about the JWT combo. I don't drag/race it, and it is a daily driver. So do you think I should get one, and if you do, where is the best/cheapest/good service place to get one. Thanks again. <M>

wow youre going on 1 year since your last post!

Anyway, I'm in Central AR. Where are you??

You will find very few shops in AR that will do a good job much less work on a Z.
I am in the process of looking for a good KNOWLEDGABLE speed shop around. Even if I have to go to Dallas...

yeah, it has been a while since I have posted last. Just been reading instead of posting. I am in Little Rock. Good luck finding a good speed shop in AR. Most of my audio work and painting I get from a shop in Conway. I would say go to Dallas, when I was in the process of looking for a turbo, most or the shops that I found were in Houston. A little farther, but you know how AR is. <M>

getting a new clutch depends on the condition of your current one. if its slipping then yeah get a new clutch and install it with the new trans. it'll be a one job.

I got my JWT combo from sharif@forged, great service/support!!

No I don't go to Deboards.. I go to a guy that works out of his garage. Great work and great price. Does everything that I need. I can give you his number if you want. I can show some pics if you are interested. <M>
