Default kjr pulley put on today

hey i just got pulley put on today.... i don't know if there is a diffrence? my friend has and srt4 and we raced before and we were pretty even, i pulled some times. but were all goin to a local drag strip tonight..my z, m3, c55, sl55, m5 and the srt4. all of the other i know will smoe my *** but i guess we'll see how i run against the srt4.... let me know what u think. also, do you guys think i should order hfc and plenum from kenetix..........

Interesting...I had never seen the Kinetix Plenum before this post. I did a search and found their website. I've seen most user's of this forum use the Motordyne Plenum spacer. I wonder what other user's have to say about swapping out the entire plenum.

What motor do you have (RevUp vs 287HP)? I know that the Motordyne solution actually has the older lower plenum as part of it's kit for the RevUP engine.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to installing the KJR Pulley pretty soon myself. Did you do it your self? The only thing that is holding be back besides the $$$, is the fact that I don't have a way to accurately set the belt tension back once I swap parts.

Got mine installed recently too, I can barely notice an increase in accelaration , but most noticable thing was it revs up quicker, nothing insane but noticable. I dunno I'm satisfied.

i believe i have the 287hp how would i tell if i had the rev up?? but ive done some research on the kenetix plenum they say it gains 4-10 to the wheels and with high flow cats about 20

the melting box plenum...save yourselves headaches and go with motordyne

look at your RPMs, if the redline is at 7000rpm, then obviously you have the rev-up (287hp one is at 6600rpm)

yea my friend has this gtech computer thing that reads your 0-60 time and i just used it and before i had the pulley my best time after 9 times was 5.74 and then after the pulley i ran 5.60 only on 3 times.... soo ithink i can hit around 5.5 maybe

no the new kenetix plenum is stronger and **** i dunno maybe your right how much did you get yous for ive seen it for 215 5/16 i kinda want the 1/2 one though
