Ts Flash'ed Members Help!!
So, i took my car to Technosquare since im fortunate to be local and Tadashi did my reflash/tune. Sadly, my results were NOT impressive at all. My post flash dyno showed my A/F to be pretty perfect ~13.0 from 2500rpm. So that helped me gain some more Torque but i pretty much didnt get any HP out of the flash. So my question is once you get your A/F to be optimal, is that all that can be done in terms of the flash to squeeze any more HP or TQ out? I dont have my dyno chart in front of me but im pretty sure my numbers are accurate since i've been thinkin about it all week.
Pre-Flash: 245WHP / 232TQ (best of 3 pulls)
Post-Flash: 246WHP / 237TQ (best of 3 pulls)

are you posting peak gains? or is that gains you're seeing throughout the RPM range?
hmm.. if you can post the graph i might be able to help you some, you told Tadashi about the spacer and high flow cats, right?

Your best bet is to post the dyno graphs. It is not always about peak numbers. I gained a lot from the reflash, but more so because it out all of my mods together as one to put down the power
Timing can be adjusted but that is usually done with a reflash. If the timing and A/F ratio are where they need to be then the only other option for more power is additional mods with further tuning. If there are intake or exhaust leaks you could see performance issues as well.

i have i/e and a crank pulley...
anyway..so sorry the re-flash didn't work out for you. how much did you pay?

thanks for the input guys, but lets just leave the gains aside for now. ill start that thread when i have the dyno's scanned. But, i just want to know that once your A/F is optimal, is there anything else the flash can tune to squeeze more power?
Why the fawk would you flash if your A/F's are that good before? Makes no sense. Only other thing you can do to get more power is mess with timing, and if your tuning timing NA-Id say there isnt much to be gained really. Wasnt a good call on your part man, sorry. I always tell people, the worst off your A/F, the more power you should see with a flash. I was in the 15's A/F and saw 9whp 12/ftlbs peak.

Damn, my bad, I thought I read prefash 13:1, now I see I was wrong. Well then that is really upsetting to hear man. You should have gained more power. But to answer your original quetsion, timing adjustments can help make power as well. And was it 14.3 midrange and then went richer? Or 14.3 @ redline? Also are both your pre/post #'s on the same dyno? Are they both SAE corrected? Uncorrected/Actual? These things can all change the #'s...

Well if your A/F's went into the low 13's mid 12's at redline thats not bad, you werent gonna gain much peak (because of th eok A/F at this point), but did you gain good under the peak?
